Women of Phu My ward attend in a contest of confident, talented and charming women.
Implementing the project of “disseminating and educating moral virtues of Vietnamese women in industrialization and modernization process” (called project 343), over the past years the steering board of the project 343 at all levels have boosted dissemination, built dissemination teams and proper models to help sisters build model of modern women with characters of “confidence, respect, loyalty, cleverness”.
Dissemination spurred
The Project 343 is divided into 4 minor projects to reach purpose of dissemination for numerous women. For instance, in the minor project 1 with the role of standing agency, Women Union at all levels combine emulation movement of “Women involve positively in labor, creation, happy family building” with movements of “All people unite to build a cultural life”, “building of new rural areas” and more.
In the year of 2014, the all level union held 2,660 dissemination sessions with the participation of more than 456,000 people. Through dissemination teams’ members, basic contents of building Vietnamese people and Vietnamese women in the industrialization and modernization process and more were promulgated for cadres and members.
Especially, the union at all levels organized 90 talk-shows on moral virtues, Vietnamese women in industrialization and modernization and more for nearly 10,000 cadres, leaders of agencies, mass bodies and women members with themes of “Young generation’s behaviors relate to traditional values”, “Women, an important role in family” and so on.
In order to promulgate effectively, the union at all levels held many significant activities such as contest of “Vietnamese women’s beauty”, “Confident, talented and charming women” and among others.
Nguyen Thi Thu Hong, chairman of the provincial Women Union said that the work on dissemination is focused especially. Specifically, in the year of 2014 the provincial Women Union organized dissemination sessions themed “confident, self-respected, loyal and clever women” at 241 sub-societies for lodgers across Thuan An, Ben Cat and Tan Uyen towns and Phu Giao district with the participation of more than 8,000 people. In addition, the union at all levels held dissemination sessions for nearly 27,000 workers at boarding houses.
Building pilot models
Building the pilot models is to promote internal force. From the pilot model, the “New women” club in Phu Loi ward, Thu Dau Mot city has thus far established 101 clubs with the attendance of 3,390 members.
Typically, “New women” club in Binh Hoa ward, Thuan An town has thus far promoted its efficiency. Doan Thi Hong, head of this club said “The club has been set up since 2013 with 50 members in the first days. They are outstanding cadres of dissemination and mobilization work, representing women with virtues in the new period. They are key members of dissemination and mobilization work at localities”.
According to Nguyen Thi Thu Hong, models and clubs’ contents and forms are always renovated to attract members. In addition, oral disseminations are improved by holding discussions, contests and more. Members after participating in clubs show positive changes and affirm their values, contributing to uphold good moral virtues of Vietnamese women in the process of renewal and national building.
