Under the Project of “Uniting and gathering young workers”, provincial Youth Federation has concentrated on taking care of young workers, setting up Youth Union branches; boosted member admission, contributing to building up a new working class in the industrialization and modernization period.
Putting focus on uniting, gathering young workers
Possibly speaking, the implementation of the Project of “Uniting and gathering young workers in the 2011 and 2015 period” was a highlight of provincial Youth Federation in the last tenure. Provincial Youth Federation and its affiliates set up 900 sub-unions for young workers at the local lodging facilities and non-State enterprises with 50,000 members. Hundreds of thousands of workers across the province also had a chance to get access to the contents of the project.

One of highlights done by provincial Youth Federation in the task of uniting and gathering young workers in the last tenure was that the Youth Federation branch of Foster Vietnam Electronics Co.Ltd. under provincial Business Bloc’s Youth Federation was developed into a Youth Federation branch under provincial Youth Federation with more than 10,000 young workers. After being upgraded, the Youth Federation branch has initially organized a lot of significant activities, including a festive day on traffic culture, a festive day on voluntary blood donation, a writing contest on national sea and islands…, at young workers’ demand.
Propaganda promoted
Along with uniting and gathering young workers, provincial Youth Federation and its affiliates have well realized propaganda work. In the last tenure, the campaign of “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” was been concretized by many practical programs. Binh Duong Daily and youth news bulletins have also become effective propaganda channels, directly affecting hundreds of thousands of young workers in the province…
Under the Project of “Raising youth’s awareness of the law”, provincial Federation Youth, its affiliates and relevant agencies over the past time organized a lot of practical programs on legal constancy for young workers, contributing to raising their awareness of “Living and working in accordance with the law”.
Taking care of young workers
One of the basic contents of provincial Project of “Uniting and gathering young workers in the 2011 and 2015 period” is to take care of young workers’ spiritual and material lives.
To concretize this content, provincial Youth Federation in the last tenure organized the annual Week for Young Workers with many significant activities, comprising of joyful market-days, programs named “Lighting dreams of young workers”…, at young workers’ demand.
In the last tenure, provincial Youth Federation also excelled at joining hands with sectors and mass organizations to take care of young workers’ spiritual and material lives. They maintained a series of useful activities for young workers such as talk shows on Vietnamese women’s virtues themed “Self-confidence-Self-esteem-Loyalty-Responsibility”; dissemination of information about the Project of “Education and propaganda of Vietnamese women’s virtues in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization” among young workers at lodging facilities; art performances…Many other significant activities also contributed to creating career orientations for young workers while mapping out appropriate measures on vocational training for them…
Pham Hong Thang, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union cum Chairman of provincial Youth Federation said that the socialization of the project has been implemented by provincial Youth Federation and its affiliates. Over the past time, provincial Youth Federation teamed up with Yamaha Vietnam Co. to organize five programs themed “Workers with traffic culture”; joined hands with Mobilfone, Meizan brands to kick off art performances and goods-selling programs with discounts for young workers…
