There was a 30% increase in the fund for the company’s annual social charity activities. During the 2014 Tet (Lunar New Year) festival, the company donated 4 tons of rice to the poor in border areas, 2 tons of rice to provincial General Hospital’s charity kitchen and VND100mln to provincial Children’s Support Fund in order to organize a program named “Spring with needy children”; teamed up with the “Vu A Dinh” scholarship fund to present gifts and hand over 2 houses of compassion to poor people in Giong Trom district in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre; gave over 3,000 Tet gifts for poor people in the central and border regions.
Noticeably, the company successfully organized a program named “Kim Oanh towards national sea and islands” with VND320mln raised for soldiers and fishermen on Truong Sa (Spratly) and Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelagoes.
On the opening occasion of the 2014-2015 new academic year, Kim Oanh Real Estate Company expressed its noble deed by setting up the Scholarship Fund named “Kim Oanh towards the future”. The scholarship fund aims to call for all staff of the company to join hands in taking care of poor children.
At the beginning of the 2014 and 2015 academic year, the company spent nearly VND3bln on awarding scholarships and gifts to poor-but-excellent pupils at province-based schools and offering help to other needy cases.
