Reporter: What is the objective of the scholarship of “Kim Oanh – Heading to the future”?

Mrs. Dang Thi Kim Oanh: We establish the funding to finance talents through the help of Kim Oanh Corporation, our employees, and kind people everywhere to support studious students in difficult life circumstances, and homeless people need shelters in the society.

For years, Kim Oanh Corporation has organized various gift visits to people of difficult circumstances. Annually, the corporation would presrve billions fof Vietnam dongs to carry such drives. By doing so, we could help those in need. We, now, set up the funding to call upon our employees to contribute in a bid to extend better care for children in poverty. From the beginning of the year, we have given out nearly VND 3 billion to offer scholarships and gifts to children in various schools and families.

Reporter: What do you do to balance the work and charity drives with family caring?

Mrs. Dang Thi Kim Oanh: I am indeed busy; however, charity drives are important too. We have proposed the strategy of “business and social responsibility” and havee been to such motto. And, thus, no matter how busy I am, I still save time for charity drives to share, encourage, and meet people need helps.

As for my family, I thank my husband and children for their understanding and sharing so that I am devoted to the career and helping people.

Through the drives, I could see through the surrounding life, the people’s sentiment and community sense, prompting me to reach for more success and helping more and more people.
