Starting up by personal needs
"Youth Creative Initiation" is the theme of the Youth Union of Vietnam in 2017 to create favorable environment, promote and support youths in the process of creatively starting businesses and innovation, encouraging the spirit to step by step meet the legitimate needs of youths. From this program, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Youth Union of Vietnam, in cooperation with the Department of Science and Technology, and the Young Entrepreneurs Association organized the program of "2017 Youth Start-up Day" to attract young people and talented young people who need to start businesses from the Youth Union in the province.
Demands for employment and employment are important needs of young people today. Wanting a good job, a good future, young people surely need a start-up process, thereby creating a long-term career. Starting from this purpose, the program of "Awakening passion for starting up businesses in youth" and the forum of "Talents to build rich and civilized Binh Duong" have attracted attention of many youth union members, young members, and talented youth to comment.
Luu Thuy Duong, accountant of Squadroni Vietnam Co., Ltd said: "As far as I know, many young people are struggling to find a way to start up businesses. They have ideas but have no capital resources to invest. Therefore, to promote start-up businesses, mechanisms related to capital support and loans should firstly administered as it would be very wasteful not to take advantage of the capital resources of the society."
Ho Duy An, Phu Hoa youth union member, said: "In the past, we had the notion that we had to go to university and after graduation, we should go to state agencies to work. To change the way we think, young people need to be adapted to the new labor market needs; change your thinking because college is not the only way for you to build a successful life. This process requires young people to start the business must have the enthusiasm to overcome difficulties and themselves.
Start-up supported
It can be said that apart from the idea of starting businesses and capital funding, each youth union member needs to depend on personal circumstances and local characteristics. It is known that three target groups have been identified to support the start-up of students, who are rural youth and young entrepreneurs, thus creating good models, typical for replication.
In the program of "Youth Support Day in 2017", the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has cooperated with the Department of Science and Technology and the Young Entrepreneurs Association to sign the "Binh Duong province from 2017 to 2022" with some basic contents such as: Introduction of knowledge of business start-up for 100% of young people in the province with the need to establish enterprises directly and online; Every year, at least 1,000 youths are advised on starting businesses with priority given to supporting rural youth, ethnic minorities, students and youth with disabilities. To annually organize training programs on business start-ups for youths, the festival of "Creative start-up business", the contest "Ideas of start-up businesses", and awarding the enterprise start-up and career for young people are organized every two years. Three to five startup forums for young entrepreneurs are to meet and interact directly with successful entrepreneurs and state management agencies. Binh Duong Youth Startup Fund has also been established and put into operation.
Nguyen Thi Ngoc Xuan, Secretary of the provincial Youth Union said that the coordination program between the units will play an important role in creating a favorable environment to promote and support the youths in the process of starting businesses and establishing career. The program aims to encourage building of young entrepreneurship and step by step to meet the needs of young entrepreneurs.
