Early August 6, Binh Duong Branch of Baoviet Insurance (BVBD) coordinated with Department of Education and Training to organize a summing-up conference of insurance activities for teachers and students in the school year of 2014 and 2015 with orientation ot 2015-2016.
Comprehensive insurance policies for teachers and students have been initiated by BVBD ever since its establishment. In 2014-2015 school year, 165,000 students and 18,000 teachers of 325 schools in the whole province joined insurance policies. The participants increased by 2,000 students and 800 teachers higher than the previous school year.
In recent years, BVBD has focused on keeping teachers and students assured of insurance benefits which is considered as one of the significant tasks to build up trust among insurance participants.
In previous school year alone, BVBD has made benefit payments to nearly 3,500 student cases and 2,800 cases of teachers and education staffs.
In 2015-2016 school year, BVBD aims for 70% of insurance coverage, which is 5% higher than previous school year, for students and teachers.
