On the occasion of Buddha’s Birthday in year 2544 of the Buddhism calendar, Deputy Chief for Standing Committee of the People’s Committee Vu Minh Sang has led a delegation team to visit religious leaders in Hoi Khanh and Chau Thoi Mountain Pagodas.
On behalf of the team, Mr. Vu Minh Sang sends their words to the leaders and followers in a meaningful celebration of Buddha’s Birthday.
He highly appreciated charity activities and unity within the Buddhism society. Monk Thich Hue Thong – Vice Chief of Buddhism Society Board of Trustees – thanked the State’s leader and the Party while promised to continue Buddhism education, contributing to development of Buddhism in social life.
In the afternoon of the same day, the Buddhism Society delegations have paid visit to province’s monument of martyrs and organized flower marching through main streets of Thu Dau Mot Town to Binh Chuan and Thuan An before returning to Culture Center of Buddhism Society. An art performing show was organized to the night.
