Since Jan. 2010, the provincial Center for Population and Family Planning in April 30 Road, Phu Hoa ward, Thu Dau Mot town not only offers consultancies on laws, family-marriage and healthcare but have more service of healthcare for women and children. With a workforce of good doctors, the center has become a reliable address of many people.
Mrs.Nga who often arrives at the center for a pregnancy test, said “arriving at the center for a pregnancy test, I feel very comfortable unlike other clinics. Doctors and midwives herein are very enthusiastic and thoughtful”.
Doctor Vo Thi Thu Ha, vice director of the center, said the center was set up in 1999. At that time, the center just offered consultancies of laws, marriage-family, healthcare and HIV/AIDS through forms of consultancies including consultancy via telephone, letters, direct consultancies… Till Jan. 2010, the center was re-established and under control of bureau of Population – Family and Planning. With the well equipped material facility plus rich workforce, the center has launched more services of health test and treatment. At present, the center has launched tests of gynaecology, gestation, supersonic…, especially, the center has enough facilities to test cervical cancer disease and vaccinate the disease for women aged 10-26. Besides, the center often cooperates with the provincial center for Health, Labor and Environment to test gynaecology for female workers.
In terms of consultancy, the center remains existent consultancies via telephone and consultancies for clubs, schools and industrial parks.
With a thoughtful care and hearty behavior, the center has won trust of people.
