Early May 24, a delegation of the Central Theoretical Council in collaboration with provincial Party Committee’s Commission of Education and Propaganda and Industrial Parks Management Board held a meeting with more than 20 laborers and Trade Union officials to discuss the role of trade union locals in taking care of laborers’ spiritual & material lives and protecting their legitimate rights and interests…
At the meeting, Prof.Dr.Ta Ngoc Tan, Vice-Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council frankly talked with Trade Union officials and laborers at province-based firms. He also paid attention to learning about working conditions, policies on salary, bonus for laborers here as well as their quality of life and aspirations. And then, the delegation directly met with laborers working at Binh Chuan production compound in Thuan An town.
In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation worked with provincial Party Standing Committee. Nguyen Huu Tu, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee and members of provincial Party Standing Committee received the delegation.
There are now 2,952 trade union locals with 623,395 members reported in the province. Trade Unions at all levels of the province always focused on taking care of laborers’ lives and protecting their legitimate rights & interests over the past time.
At the working session, leaders of sectors in the province also mentioned some difficulties for the Trade Union, especially Trade Union locals in the new context.
