Provincial Department of Education-Education grandly held a ceremony to commemorate the death anniversary of the Hung Kings at Hung Vuong specialized high school on the evening of April 6 (or the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month).
The ceremony took place very solemnly and significantly with incense-offering rituals, music and martial arts performances imbrued with national cultural features…
On behalf of the sector, Le Nhat Nam, Vice-Director of provincial Department of Education and Training said that after 20 years of development, Hung Vuong specialized high school has constantly tried and is proud of being a cradle to nurture and train hi-quality human resources for the province and the nation. The school’s teachers and pupils have spared no effort to reap remarkable achievements, contributing to building up a prosperous and beautiful Binh Duong homeland, deserving the belief, love and high expectations of the local Party, government and people.
*As part of activities commemorating the dead anniversary of the Hung Kings, Hung Vuong specialized high school, on April 6, also held a variety of contests for pupils.
Along with designing tents with the names in association with the lives of people under the dynasty of the Hung kings and celebrities of the nation, the school’s pupils also had a chance to play folk games like tug-of-war, flower arrangement, “banh chung” (square glutinous rice cake) making…On the evening of the same day, they continued performing art items themed “Being proud of Hung Vuong specialized high school’s youths”…
The above activities aimed to educate the local pupils about the national root, the tradition of founding and defending the nation. This was also a chance for the school to nurture and uphold self-reliance and national pride among pupils; boost cultural activities and build up a healthy and joyful cultural environment, contributing to preserving and bringing into full play the national cultural identities.
