Being recognized as cultural hamlet for over 20 consecutive years
Paying a visit to Hung Hoa commune’s hamlet 4 in early November, we were impressed with the changing appearance of this countryside, with airy and clean roads, spacious houses. The local people have joined hands in preserving the living environment; enthusiastically cooperated with organizations to plant flowers to create green - clean - beautiful spaces on both sides of the roads.

Hung Hoa commune’s hamlet 4 has paid more attention to the spiritual life of people through cultural, artistic and sports activities
Taking us around the hamlet, Trinh Xuan Ha, Head of the Executive Board of hamlet 4 said that it was a new economic area in the past. People from many places came to settle down, living mainly on doing farming and working for rubber plantations, factories around the area and small businesses...
“Compared to the previous period, the lives of people in the hamlet have been improved significantly. The entire hamlet is now home to 206 households, 186 households of which have won the title of cultural family for 3 consecutive years. Every year, 100% of households in the hamlet register to build cultural families. Residential areas do not have people suffering from social evils and in 2023, 98% of households have been recognized as cultural families. In general, people's lives have been changing for better development. Espencially, people here are very happy because hamlet 4 has maintained the title of cultural hamlet for 20 consecutive years."
Achieving today's results is a process of effort and solidarity of the people as the movement "All people uniting to build many criteria has been maintained and improved. This movement has led to the emergence of many outstanding examples in building cultural families that have been praised, creating a pervasive influence in and out of the hamlet.
Improving people's lives
Along with the movement of building cultural lifestyle, the Executive Board of the hamlet 4 has effectively implemented poverty reduction. Hamlet 4 only has 4 poor households, including 2 poor households receiving social protection and 2 poor households under the province's criteria. Here, people live very gratefully, enthusiastically helping those with more difficult circumstances. That is also the thread that unites people in common movements.
For many years, Huynh Thi Luom (60 years old) has gotten used to everyone's attention for her... Living alone, with a disabled leg, she has no income, except the monthly support of VND 600,000 from the State. Understanding her situation, the Executive Board of Hamlet 4 has mobilized people in the hamlet to care and support her life.
“With the attention and support of the local government as well as neighbors, my life is less difficult and less lonely…", Huynh Thi Luom confided.
With economic development, people's spiritual lives have also received more sufficient care. In addition, the hamlet has well built cultural institutions and taken care of the people's spiritual life with practical activities through cultural, artistic, and sports movements. After completing their daily work, people gather together to practice arts, exchange football, volleyball..., creating an extremely exciting atmosphere. Besides, hamlet 4 always leads the commune in the movement of learning promotion, talent promotion, creating motivation for children to study and rise up.
