Thanks to a charity class of Nguyen an Binh-Secretary of the Sub-Union 108b for Alien Youth of Binh An ward in Di An town, tens of children with difficulties have known how to read and write. For him, organizing such a charity class for children who are unable to pursue education due to hardship is the best way for knowledge promoted to all people.
Near Binh’s accommodation, there are a lot of immigrants living in lodging facilities with children who are unable to go to school due hardship. With the desire of eradicating illiteracy among them, in 2006, Binh set up a charity class on an area borrowed from a resident in Binh Thung 1 quarter. He asked for schools for tables and chairs and then repaired them to serve his charit class. His charity class was moved to Chau Thoi quarter due to disadvantaged conditions. Currently, nearly 70 needy children attend the charity class.

poor children have had knowledge thanks to Nguyen Van Binh’s enthusiastic
education Along with Binh, the charity class is taught by 12 other
volunteers. All are very devoted to pupils of the class. Binh has also saved
money on investing in material facilities for his charity class. Also thanks to
his devotion, Binh has converted hard-headed children into obedient ones. It is
known that Binh is preparing for the entrance exam to the HCM City University
of Education with the hope of giving more help to pupils.
Binh is not only known as a devoted teacher, but also a successful Youth Union cadre in the project of gathering young workers in Binh An ward. On August 2011, Binh mobilized organizations and individuals to establish the Sub-Union 108b for Alien Youth at Noi Hoa hamlet and was nominated as secretary of the sub-union. The sub-union now has 20 members and they regularly help each other.
Binh has also actively encouraged the local youngsters in economic development, aiming to increase their incomes. Since late 2012, Binh and two other Youth Union members have got involved in breeding 40 pairs of pigeons, which is seen as a pilot model for this kind of animal. He will further develop many other models on breeding snakes and safe vegetables in the coming time, helping the local youngsters raise their incomes.
With his own efforts, Nguyen Van Binh is perfecting himself and it is believed that his plans will early come true.
