“From charity heart, over the past 10 years I have started implementing my dream. Every day, I read all newspapers to seek out addresses of the unlucky and then I arrive at their houses to help them overcome difficulties”, Hanh shared.
In 2000, she urged her friends to join hands to involve in charity work. After that she and her friends gathered sisters in HCMC and Binh Duong province to set up a Di An charity group.
The Di An charity group has so far lured over 16 sisters. They have appeared across provinces and cities to help the unlucky.
Over years, Hanh has assisted thousands of the unlucky nationwide by granting gifts, wheelchairs and charity houses to the poor and disabled.
She and the group’s members often paid gift visits to natural calamity-hit victims in central provinces. Lastly, the group paid a gift visit to the poor at Mekong Delta provinces.
Nguyen Ngoc Hanh just donated VND40mil to the provincial sponsor society for poor patients and disabled people to grant 2 charity houses to the disabled in Ben Cat district’s Tan Dinh and An Tay communes.
On the occasion, she also donated money to Di An town Red Cross to build a charity house to Do Thanh Tan in Di An ward.
