Young entrepreneurs grant Tet gifts to poor kids at local general hospital.
Recently, U&I Corp. chairman Mai Huu Tin announced a sponsor fund named Tu Mai established by his family. The Tu Mai fund aims at assisting the unlucky. On Jan. 22, 2011, the local society of young entrepreneurs in cooperation with Tu Mai fund held a gift visit to the local general hospital and Center for Orphan at Bo De Dao Trang Pagoda.
Launching a movement of earmarking a salary day and VND5,000 per tourist per tour to offer meals on weekends for poor patients at local hospitals and unlucky people at sponsor centers is one of significant deeds of Dat Thu Tourism – Event Co.
In days near Tet, many temples are busy with gift visits to poor kids and people in remote areas. On Jan. 23, 2011, Bo De Dao Trang Temple held a music show and granted 600 gifts each worth VND100,000 to poor kids at 3 communes of Thuan An district. Meanwhile, club for volunteers led by Monk Thich Minh Thien of Chau Thoi Mount. Pagoda in cooperation with the local Red Cross Society held Tet gift visits to poor people across localities. On Jan. 24, Monk Thich Hue Thong of Hoi Khanh Temple also donated 100 gifts each worth VND300,000 to poor people in Phu Giao district.
There are countless charity deeds from golden hearts in this Spring. It is hoped that the charity flower trees will blossom more beautiful flowers to share obstacles with the poor.
