After 5 years of “charity home” program sponsored by Binh Duong Television, live hood of 140 poor households has been enlightened.
Tears of happiness
Our first impression as Binh Duong Newspaper’s reporters in a ceremony handing over 3 charity houses to poor people in Binh Dai District, Ben Tre Province was over joyful faces. One of the houses was handed over to Mrs. Bo Thi Dieu, residing at Loc Son, Loc Thuan, Binh Dai. It was such a challenge to get to her new house of VND 37mln worth contributed by donation of Binh Duong people.
“It was like a dream to me
to really live in a true home like this,” she said in happy tears.
The new houses are not only shelters but also places of worship made to poor people by kind-hearted persons. It is their utmost happiness.
Kind-hearted program
The program sponsored by Binh Duong Television is meaningful in calling for kind-hearted actions. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Nam who is Head of Education department of Binh Duong Television and who is in charge of the program said that donation in and outside Binh Duong Province has supported and maintain the program. He was also hopeful for more donation in the time to come. We were also impressed by a 13-year-old kind-hearted Sy Hoang who accompanied his mother in the charity trip.
“I am so glad to be a part of it. I will follow my mother to give people home and support them,” said Hoang.
