Development of civilized bus systemCompared with big urban areas, the number of traffic participants and vehicles in Binh Duong remains modest but if without planning on infrastructure facility and development of public transport service, traffic jam and congestion like Ha Noi and HCMC will be inevitable.Therefore, Binh Duong has set out policies to perfect and upgrade key routes. In terms of transport service, the provincial People's Committee has over years steered functional agencies and localities to develop public traffic network. Accordingly, key mean lies in inner provincial and inter-provincial bus service.Dam Trong Cuong, vice director of the provincial Transport Department, said that the department will focus on developing bus rapid transit, picking up workers from Thu Dau Mot city to Binh Duong new city. The project co-held between local authority and Becamex Tokyu will be put into operation in late 2014.After the project, the department will continue developing and upgrading operational bus lines.
