National Week on Clean Water and Environmental Hygiene. Binh Duong has actively
responded to the week launched by the Prime Minister of Government since 1998
and reached positive results, contributing to changing people’s life quality
and moving towards the millennium development goals committed by Vietnam.

For this year’s National Week on Clean Water and Environmental Hygiene getting good results, provincial People’s Committee has asked for sectors, departments, mass organizations and localities to implement activities in response to the event from April 29 to May 6 and run until the World Environment Day (June 5). Along with propaganda work about using and conserving clean water, practicing hygiene to improve the awareness and behaviour of people, sectors, departments, mass organizations and localities will mobilize people from all walks of life to make environmental hygiene; get involved in growing green trees; build, protect and use works on clean water supply and hygienic toilets effectively; promote socialization of the movement “All people to use clean water and make environmental hygiene”; inspect and monitor water quality in rural areas of the province…
