Club for women involving in traffic safety was established by Phu Hoa ward Women Union one month ago. The club has contributed to minimize traffic accidents remarkably.
Le Thi Thanh Hong, chairwoman of Phu Hoa ward Women Union, said the club’s birth is to mobilize sisters to execute the Law on Road Traffic for the sake for safety.

Women sign a commitment of “Women act for traffic safety”.
The club has mobilized more than 100 members to sign a commitment of “Women act for traffic safety”. Implementing the commitment, they will positively mobilize their relatives not to transgress pavements for trading, to wear helmets as riding motorbikes and among others.
Tran Thi Oc, the owner of hairdresser’s in quarter 5, said she not only executes regulations of traffic safety but mobilizes her clients to park in the right places. Meanwhile, Tran Thi Cuc, a newspaper seller, pledged “I’ll obey commitments on traffic safety”.
Le Thi Thanh Hong, added aside from signing commitments, the club in cooperation with the ward board of traffic safety and local authorities mobilizes sisters not to transgress pavements for trading.
This is a pilot model of the central Women Union on implementing traffic safety to minimize traffic accidents in the locality.
