On the afternoon of February 11, provincial People’s Committee held a conference to review and evaluate the implementation of Project No. 06 in 2024 and outline directions for 2025 at provincial Administrative Center. The conference was chaired by Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, with the participation of members of provincial Steering Committee for Project No.06 and leaders of various departments and agencies. The event was also streamed live to nine district and city locations across the province.

At the conference, Colonel Ngo Xuan Phu, Deputy Director of provincial Police Agency affirmed that the key objectives of the Project No.06 in 2024 achieved significant results. Awareness and actions regarding digital transformation, particularly in implementing Project No.06 saw positive shifts among authorities and the public. Various utilities derived from citizen data, national ID cards and electronic identification were provided, helping reduce costs and save time for residents and businesses in administrative procedures. At the conference, leaders from various sectors and localities reported on the advantages and challenges in implementing Project No.06 while highlighting key achievements. These included a comprehensive review of land data, with the urgent digitization of over VND 1.3 million land parcel records across the province; the digitalization of 1,028,354 civil status records which were successfully updated into the National Civil Status Database; the processing of 1,368 applications for judicial record certificates via online public services and the VNeID application. The integration of electronic health books, referral papers and follow-up appointments on VNeID has brought practical results, supporting people in accessing medical services quickly and conveniently.
Mr. Minh commended the efforts by all-level authorities, sectors and localities in implementing Project No.06. He emphasized the need for continued improvement and expansion of the data platform, enhancing data-sharing capabilities between departments, agencies and businesses, particularly ensuring seamless integration with the National Database under Project No.06. Additionally, he urged the widespread implementation of cashless payments across all-level authorities and sectors, aiming for a comprehensive digital economy while ensuring integration with the VNeID electronic identification system to enhance security and convenience for citizens.
On this occasion, provincial People's Committee recognized and awarded the certificates of merit to 14 collectives and 32 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing Project No.06.
