Compulsory medical report of working people should be enforced at enterprises

After Tet Holiday 2021, on February 17 (the 6th of lunar January), the production operations at industrial parks and clusters in the province resumed to its normal state.

In order to ensure the prevention and control of Covid-19, Binh Duong provincial People's Committee previously requested workers from other places, especially, workers from localities where Covid- epidemic is current, need to make mandatory medical declaration according to regulations. Specifically, the Official Letter No. 655/UBND-VX dated February 15, 2021 on the continuation of the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic in the province, by which the Steering Committee for epidemic prevention and control is required against Covid-19 at all levels, the Management Board of Industrial Zones, enterprises, factories, companies, concentrated residential areas, migrant workers to owners of accommodation businesses and each residential group, and hamlet must be tightly managed. Accordingly, mandatory medical declaration is required for those who come to Binh Duong after the Lunar New Year, especially from localities, epidemic areas or passing through epidemic zones etc. to actively manage the people's health situation. At the same time, it was requested that the monitoring team of Covid-19 in the community should play an active role of monitoring and detecting to report to the authorities about avoidance cases and violations.

At present, the provincial health sector has been working with related units to agree on forms and instructions for enterprises to declare health status of workers in enterprises as well as guidance for localities and employers. Accommodation establishments are to declare for self-employed workers who are temporarily residing in the locality and hostels.
