The 6th Congress of the Youth Union of Phu Giao district, Vietnam Youth Federation (Youth Union) for the term 2024-2029 was inaugurated on the morning of March 25. This is the unit organizing the district-level congress of the province and the first unit in the country to organize the district-level congress for the term 2024-2029. The congress gathers 130 delegates representing over 8,000 youth union members in the district.
At the opening session, the congress approved the synthesis report of contributions to the documents of the Eighth Provincial Youth Union Congress, term 2024-2029; the summary report of the youth union and movement activities in the district, term 5, 2019-2024; objectives, tasks, solutions for term 6, 2024-2029; evaluation report of the district Youth Union Committee, term 5, 2019-2024; approval of the personnel project and the election agreement, elect the Youth Union Executive Committee of the district for the sixth term, 2024-2029.
In the term 2019-2024, the Vietnam Youth Union at all levels and all youth in Phu Giao district have promoted advantages, overcome difficulties, and achieved many targets beyond the resolution. The union has implemented 11 model flower road projects; 2,500 people have received medical examinations, medicine, and gifts, organizing 45 activities to take care of young workers and their children; nearly 40,000 members, young people are advised, legal propaganda and participate in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas. The Congress takes place in 2 days of March 25 and 26.
Previously, the delegation attending the 6th district Youth Union Congress, term 2024-2029, visited, offered flowers, and incensed at the district Martyrs Cemetery.
