Binh Duong has made
efforts in bringing skilled laborers to province-based enterprises via many
practical activities, including organizing job transaction sessions, giving
vocational training, introducing jobs to laborers, seeking ways to keep them… 
Laborers making job application forms at the 80th provincial job transaction session
From job transaction floor
Provincial Job Placement Center will kick off the 81st job transaction session at 7:30 AM of November 24 ahead. This continues being a chance for province-based enterprises to provide job seekers with recruitment information and select candidates suitable to their recruitment positions.
The 80th job transaction session was held at the center on November 10, absorbing 105 enterprises with the recruitment demand of 6,890 laborers. As a result, participating enterprises directly interviewed 856 laborers, 712 of whom are technical workers. More than 7,800 turns of laborers also found online jobs by accessing the Internet.
Industries recruited at the transaction job sessions organized at the center mainly focus on transport, mechanism, construction, insurance, electronics, telecommunications, footwear, home appliances, office, porcelain, food processing, real estate trading, education and other services…Since early November, more than 68, 232 turns of job seekers have visited the center’s online job transaction floor. There have also been 1,031 job application forms registering at the online job transaction floor.
Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Head of the Job Placement Department under provincial Job Placement Center said that since 2010, the center has put its online job transaction floor into operation at two websites: www.binhduongworks.com and www.vieclambinhduong.vn to meet enterprises’ labor demand and laborers’ job demand. Every month, more than 100,000 people visit the two websites. More than 50 items on recruitment information with 70 job opportunities are updated on the websites every day.
To vocational training, job introduction
As a locality in the Southern key economic zone, Binh Duong has so far attracted more than 12,000 domestic and FDI enterprises with the annual recruitment demand of around 50,000-60,000 laborers. Hence, along with job transaction sessions, province-based vocational training schools have sped up vocational training and job introduction to laborers.
Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College is in the list of vocational schools having the right to select key vocational skills to receive support for investment from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in the 2011-2015 period and orientations till 2020. Accordingly, the school spends a great expense source on teaching every year. This year, with VND11bln, the school has invested more in teaching equipment to improve the quality of vocational training and meet the local demand for highly skilled human resources, with the following faculties: mechanics-manufacturing, electrical industry, industrial electronics, automotive industry…The school’s annual enrollment target is around 1,000-1,200 learners.
Apart from organizing practice on site, Vietnam-Singapore Vocational College has given vocational consultancy for learners and sent them to enterprises for probation. Each learner will also have a registration form for employment after graduation. And the school will introduce jobs to learners if they need to immediately work. Hence, 85%-90% of learners herein have had jobs after graduation.
So far, there have been 490,806 laborers with labor deals or 91.5% of total number of laborers in the province; 471,732 laborers with social and health insurance or 88% of total. Province-based enterprises have also made and registered more than 1,000 mass labor deals. The majority of the mass labor deals have been developed upon the contents that bring more profits to laborers than those stipulated by the State.
