Early October 23, the Trade Union of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park (VSIP) held a contest on flower arrangement and Karaoke singing under the theme of “The beauty of Vietnamese women” on the occasion of the 86th anniversary of Vietnam Women’s Union (October 20, 1930-October 20, 2016) and the 6th anniversary of Vietnam Women’s Day (October 20, 2010-October 20, 2016).
The contest absorbed 46 teams representing 46 trade union locals. They brought the contest flower baskets in praise of Vietnamese women and songs in praise of the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland…
This was also a chance for trade union locals to exchange while showing their creative skills to better organize collective activities.
*The Trade Union of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co.Ltd. in Di An town, on October 22, held its 6th contest on cooking and flower arrangement with the participation of 39 teams.
Finally, the organizers awarded first prize in the flower arrangement event to the team No.05 with a flower basket themed “Que huong” (homeland). The first prize in the cooking event went to the team No.02 with dishes themed “Yeu thuong” (love).
This contest aimed to celebrate Vietnam Women’s Day (October 20) while creating a useful playground for employees. Through the contest, the company’s directorate hopes that apart from being good at workplace, employees, especially female ones have to be responsible for housework.
