To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union has launched a significant political campaign. This initiative, involving the entire Youth Union in the province, is centered around the theme: "The Great Victory of Spring 1975 - The strength of national unity, the aspiration for peace, national independence, and the will to unify the country."
Express deep gratitude
The 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day is an opportunity for Binh Duong youth to express their gratitude, honor and pay tribute to the great contributions of previous generations and continue the heroic tradition of their homeland, arousing patriotism and turning to their roots. In order to widely propagate and educate this meaning among young people, Youth Union at all levels in the province organized many activities and journeys to historical sites, helping members review heroic history and improve national pride.
To celebrate the national festival, Youth Union and Youth Federation of Long Tan commune in Dau Tieng district organized the program "Journey to the Red Address" at the Iron Triangle Tunnels Relic Site. During this event, young people learned about the formation process and strategic significance of the Iron Triangle tunnel system during the intense war years. Participants also watched the movie "Tunnels - Sun in the Dark," which depicts life and battles in the underground tunnels. This innovative approach to activities and outreach allows young people to engage with and understand the historical significance of their nation more deeply. The journey serves as an opportunity to educate youth about revolutionary traditions while fostering a sense of patriotism and responsibility to protect their homeland.
As they retraced the steps of history, each youth union member gained a stronger appreciation for the value of peace today and made a commitment to uphold the ideals of their ancestors. In addition, Youth Union and Youth Federation in the province organized a traditional talk titled "Heroic Years," featuring exchanges between veterans and young people. They also launched "April of National Spirit" activities within HYPO school branches. These initiatives are meaningful educational efforts aimed at teaching students about revolutionary history and honoring the contributions of past generations.
One of the key activities that the Youth Union, from the provincial to grassroots levels, focuses on is the "Repaying Gratitude" initiative. Youth Union branches visited and presented gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, families of martyrs, wounded soldiers, and families with significant contributions to the revolution. Through this initiative, young people expressed their gratitude and worked to spread positive values. It also raises awareness about living with purpose and contributing to the community, highlighting the important roles and responsibilities of youth.

At the square of Di An City Administrative Center, the Vietnam Youth Federation of the city has held a flag-saluting ceremony, "I love my Fatherland." This is an activity of Di An City Youth Festival program in 2025 with the theme "Aspirations of Di An youth in the era of rising up". On this festival day, Youth Federation of the city launched and called on grassroots associations and youths throughout the city to carry out exciting emulation movements, contributing to local development to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
