A delegation of Binh Duong province pays a working visit to Artemisa province
Mr. Ricardo, Governor of Artemisa province received the delegation. The event was also attended by Le Quang Long, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba; Bui Thanh Nhan, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; leader of provincial People's Council. Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Ricardo affirmed that although the local economy has still faced many difficulties, Artemisa province is always interested in implementing the memorandum of understanding establishing friendly cooperative relations between the two localities signed in August 2023. Governor Ricardo said that he was very interested in implementing cooperation in the health sector between Artemisa province and Binh Duong province while proposing cooperation in the fields of mineral exploitation, tourism development, business connection, animal husbandry…
Representatives of Binh Duong province expressed their desire to strengthen further cooperation in the fields of economics, culture, healthcare, education, science - technology, trade promotion, investment cooperation..., contributing to the prosperous socio-economic development of the two localities. As for the medical field, it is hoped that doctors from Artemisa province will come to Binh Duong to learn and have an overview of the local medical field, thereby cooperating to improve the quality of the local healthcare while promoting cooperation in the field of biopharmaceuticals and vaccines. Artemisa province agreed to let the two local health sectors continue exchanging and promoting cooperation in this field.
Within the framework of the working visit to Artemisa province, the province's delegation was welcomed by Cuban children and presented paintings expressing Cuba - Vietnam solidarity. On this occasion, the delegation also planted souvenir trees, offered flowers and incense to commemorate heroic martyrs who sacrificed for Cuba's independence.
