Coordination to well realize celebrations of major holidays

On the afternoon of October 17, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting of provincial Organization Board for Major Holidays. The meeting reviewed reports from various departments regarding the 95th death anniversary of Nguyen Sinh Sac (November 27, 1929 - November 27, 2024) and discussed a draft plan for organizing significant holidays and important events in the province for 2025.

At the meeting, representative of provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, acting as the standing body of the organization board reported that the 95th death anniversary of Junior Doctor Nguyen Sinh Sac, President Ho Chi Minh’s father, is scheduled to take place for two days, November 26-27 (October 26-27 of lunar calendar) at the Hoi Khanh Pagoda National Historic Site in Thu Dau Mot city. The commemoration will include ceremonial activities and a special exhibition on Junior Doctor Nguyen Sinh Sac. For 2025, the planned celebrations include: the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), the Tet(Lunar New Year) festival 2025, the Hung Kings' Death Anniversary, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 71st anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025), the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). In addition, provincial Military Command reported on preparations for the 80th founding anniversary of Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the All People’s Defence Festival.

Addressing the meeting, Mr.Ha agreed with the plans proposed by departments and urged relevant agencies, units and localities to closely coordinate in executing their assigned tasks to ensure that all activities are carried out under the plan.
