This year, provincial Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism and provincial Ornamental Creatures Association will jointly organize the 2012 Spring Flower Festival at provincial Museum from Dec.21 to 27, 2012.
On display are various bonsais, ornamental stones and strange flowers from artisans in and out of the province. The fair also includes a contest for beautiful ornamental creatures.
Provincial Department of Culture, Sports & Tourism and provincial Journalists’ Association will also co-hold the Spring Newspaper Exhibition 2012 at two venues: provincial Museum and provincial Library.
At provincial Library, provincial Spring Newspaper Exhibition 2012 will take place from Jan.17 to Feb.7. Apart from showcasing spring press publications from press agencies nationwide, provincial Library will organize many programs at the local people’s entertainment demand.
This event will also take place at provincial Museum from Jan.21 to 28. Nguyen Thi Hai, director of province Library said that with around 450 spring press publications, this year’s spring newspaper fair will contribute to making more recreational places for the local people during the 2012 Tet (lunar New Year) holiday
An exhibition on photography and art works by artists in and out of the province will be also organized at the Thanh Le Cultural Park from Jan.14 to Feb.18.
Especially, the local people will enjoy a variety show with the performance of famous singers at the administrative-political center in the Binh Duong new city on lunar New Year’s Eve. A firework show to welcome the lunar New Year 2012 will be also organized here.
