With a joyful and festive atmosphere, the whole country celebrates National Day, and in various localities within the province, many meaningful and vibrant cultural and artistic activities have taken place. With careful and thorough preparations, these activities have attracted a large number of people and tourists to participate.
Jubilant atmosphere
The holidays, recreational activities, and entertainment organized in Thu Dau Mot city are extremely diverse. The highlight of these activities is the unveiling ceremony of the "Hoa Dau Wings" (a local plant) symbol in the pedestrian street area of Bach Dang (Phu Cuong ward) on the morning of September 2nd. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Loi, Central Party Committee member, provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial National Assembly delegation; Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Standing Committee member of Binh Duong provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Thu Dau Mot city Party Committee, and thousands of locals.

The structure depicts trunk connecting to the tower body. At the top is a clock simulating the tower of Thu Dau Mot market, with a flagpole. The total height from the tower base to the flagpole is 24 meters. The two flower petals are made of steel measured 21.6 meter in length each and weighed over 4 tons in total. The paint color is similar to the real flower. Between the two petals sits an observation deck for people to admire the Saigon River and Bach Dang pedestrian street from above.

Every day at around 6 p.m., the iconic tower starts to light up with a system of LED lights that change colors continuously. To serve the entertainment needs of the people and tourists, on the evening of September 2, Thu Dau Mot city organized an artistic fireworks display on the iconic tower. The fireworks used in the program were low-range fireworks on display for 15 minutes. Thousands of people came to watch and took the opportunity to capture beautiful moments with the new construction's fireworks.
To meet the needs of people's entertainment and holidays from August 29 to September 3, at the Bach Dang pedestrian street area, a traditional folk cake market in the South, regional cuisine, and exhibition of products certified with OCOP standards have also taken place. In the evening, the stalls in this market space have attracted thousands of visitors to visit and enjoy.

As part of the activities to celebrate National Day, Thu Dau Mot University collaborated with the Information and Sports Culture Center of Thu Dau Mot city to organize a community art performance at Bach Dang Pedestrian Street. Plenty destinations to visit
Along with Thu Dau Mot City, localities in the province have also organized many activities to celebrate National Day. Specifically, Thu An City has organized an exhibition of images, documents, and traditional artifacts at the Thu An Traditional House and the Cultural Information - Sports Center of Thu An City. Here, many residents and visitors have the opportunity to visit and learn about the cultural and historical values of the locality.
The exhibition features about 200 images, materials, and artifacts showcasing the achievements and development of the Party, government, and people of Thuan An city in recent times. Through the exhibition, it aims to honor the cultural values and patriotic traditions of the Vietnamese people, helping the public to better understand the significance of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Previously, on the evening of August 30th, at 30-4 Square, the Ben Cat City Cultural, Sports and Radio Center organized a cultural performance program to serve the people. At the performance night, a large audience had the opportunity to enjoy songs that accompanied the years, praising the glorious Party, the great President Ho Chi Minh, praising the homeland, the hardworking and brave Vietnamese people, and praising Binh Duong and Ben Cat city.
As part of the activities to celebrate National Day, the Cultural Information and Sports Center of Thu Dau Mot city organized an exchange program of don ca tai tu - cai luong (Tai Tu Music) with the theme "Thu Dau Mot - Resounding Echo of the Origin". Participating in the program were 4 units from the Don ca tai tu Club of Binh Duong Province Union, Don ca tai tu Club of Ben Cat City, Don ca tai tu Club of Phu Giao District, and Don ca tai tu Club of Thu Dau Mot city.
With passion and a desire to honor and promote this unique form of art of the nation, artisans and actors have come together to perform many well-structured and excerpted scenes of cai luong, praising the revolutionary tradition, homeland, and Binh Duong province. Through this, they contribute to raising awareness in preserving and promoting the intangible cultural heritage values that have been recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
