Over the past years, the province has extended projects of Vietnam Family Strategy for the 2005-2010 period. They included projects of supporting family economy’s development, domestic violence control, social evil control. And, its 3rd project in this year will be ‘Cultural family reinforcement’ model.
The project is to equip families with basic skills to build a quality and cultural family. Basically, families have involved in significant activities showing their responsibility to cultural family building.
In 2009, Thu Dau Mot town division of Culture and Information in cooperation with the local department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a training class on the model for units. The course introduced models, processes, and ways of implementing activities of building a cultural family.
In 2010, the model will be extended in Thuan An district’s Lai Thieu township by local budget.
