Such these apart, the company’s trade union local organized lots of cultural and sports activities for laborers to relax after hard-working hours while creating favorable conditions for them to take part in movements launched by the district’s Labor Union, including folk games on great holidays, mini-football tournaments…For female laborers, they also enjoyed all policies stipulated by the State for them and were presented gifts on the annual International Women’s Day…
Nguyen Van Hoang, chairman of the company’s trade union said that the company’s trade union offered timely attention and help to needy laborers. Nearly VND28mln was raised for laborers with extremely difficult circumstances. The company’s trade union also gave Tet gifts to workers and presented gifts and scholarships to their offspring; joined hands with the company to organize tours for workers…
With the activities for the sake of workers’rights and interests, the company’s trade union was awarded the certificates of merit by provincial Labor Union, Thuan An district’s People’s Committee. In 2009, the company was also awarded the symbol for “Businesses making good conditions for the trade union to work effectively”.
