Dau Tieng district’s Labor Confederation, on July 24, held a get-together to mark the 85th founding anniversary of Vietnam’s Trade Union (July 28, 1929-July 28, 2014) and partially summed up its activities in the first half of 2014.
At the get-together, participants reviewed the 85-year history and development of Vietnam’s Trade Union and approved a report on activities of the district’s Labor Confederation over the past six months. Accordingly, activities of the local Labor Confederation saw a positive change in both content and form. One more trade union local was established. The whole district now has a total of 88 trade union locals with 3,515 trade unionists.
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also awarded mementoes to 23 individuals for their contributions to activities of the Trade Union; presented prizes of a competition on the Law on Labor and the Law on Trade Union held by provincial Labor Confederation to 7 individuals and 1 collective.
*The same day, Bau Bang district’s Labor Confederation organized a get-together to mark the 85th founding anniversary of Vietnam’s Trade Union (July 28, 1929-July 28, 2014).
Although just going into operation, the district’s Labor Confederation has overcome difficulties and reached certain results in aspects. The whole district now has a total of 80 trade union locals with 9,212 trade unionists.
At the get-together, the district’s Labor Confederation also launched the emulation movements of “Well working, creatively working”, “Building up new rural areas”…
