The Association of Veterans in Dau Tieng district has just summed up 20 years of implementation of Resolution 09-NQ/TW dated January 8, 2002 of the Politburo on strengthening the CPV leadership over the activities of Vietnam veterans during the new revolution.
Over the past 20 years and inheriting and promoting the tradition of loyalty, solidarity, exemplary - innovation, all staff and members in the district have made great efforts to overcome difficulties and successfully implement the set targets and tasks. The Association has encouraged its members to actively participate in the emulation movement of exemplary veterans associated with the local in-depth political tasks, with focus on building and replicating many examples in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style.
Implementing the emulation of "Staying together to build a new countryside and a civilized city", many veteran officers and members have donated land and properties to expand and build rural roads. Over the past 20 years, the district Association of Veterans has especially mobilized funds from individuals, organizations and members to contribute to building and repairing 27 houses for members in difficult circumstances at a total value of nearly VND 1 billion. On the occasion, Dau Tieng district People's Committee rewarded 16 collectives and 38 individuals with outstanding achievements in 20 years of implementing Resolution 09-NQ/TW of the Politburo.
