Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. now has 4,271 female laborers or 41.4% of total. Ly Thien Nu, Head of the Women’s Affairs Board of the company’s Trade Union said that over the past time, the Women’s Affairs Board of the company’s Trade Union regularly made dissemination of information about the Party and State’s guidelines and policies among female laborers, creating a driving force for the development of their movements.
Besides, the Women’s Affairs Boards at all levels of the company’s Trade Union also joined hands with relevant agencies to speed up propaganda on the Law on Gender Equality, the Law against Family Violence, especially the campaign of “Studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s exemplary morals” among female laborers…

They also opportunely grasped female laborers’ feeling and aspiration. Hence, the company always ensured jobs with stable income for female laborers during the past years. The company’s female laborers in 2013 enjoyed the average income of over VND7.5mln per capita per month. The Women’s Affairs Boards at all levels of the company’s Trade Union also attached special importance to well realizing policies on social insurance, health insurance, labor protection… for female laborers; simultaneously teamed up with female laborers to opportunely deal with complaints relating to their legitimate rights and interests, contributing to improving their lives. Thus, female laborers herein always well fulfilled their entrusted tasks over the past time.
Helping each other in economic development
The company’s Trade Union has instructed the Women’s Affairs Boards at all levels to well realize the movement of “Women helping each other in home based business development”.
In 2013, the company’s Trade Union helped 152 workers, including 68 female ones, get VND4bln in loan for building their houses; built houses of compassion for 12 workers, including 5 female ones. The Women’s Affairs Boards at all levels of the company’s Trade Union also provided more than VND1bln in non-interest rate loan for 306 female laborers to develop home based business. In addition, the company’s Trade Union supported 21,550 breeding animals and 10,050 Stump nurslings for female laborers to develop home based business.
Such these apart, the company’s Trade Union sped up the movement of “Building up civilized lifestyle and cultural families” and female laborers were seen as a main force for this movement. The whole company last year had 8,819 out of 9,297 households registering for the title of “cultural family” or 94.86% of total. There were also 3,593 female laborers winning the title of “Good in work place-Good in housework”. Moreover, the Women’s Affairs Boards at all levels of the company’s Trade Union made efforts in improving female laborers’ qualifications; cooperated with the company’s Health Center to provide medical check-ups for female workers twice a year; attached special importance to organizing cultural and sports activities for them…
In the coming time, the Trade Union and the Women’s Affairs Boards at all levels of the company will further speed up emulation movements among female laborers while improving their professional ability, knowledge on family and law in a bid to take good care of their lives. In fact, when their legitimate rights and interests are ensured, laborers will get more faith to constantly rise up and creatively work.
