Before the complicated development of blue-ear-pig disease, Dau Tieng district have held many urgent meetings to have a thorough grasp of the situation of the local epidemic disease and take measures against it.
There have been no reports about blue-ear-pig disease in Dau Tieng district, but the risk of the disease spreading from other localities is very high. The district now has nearly 40,000 pigs which are being raised at the breeding facilities of CP, CJ, Vina, Thanh Binh, Sanmiquel and the local households. The district’s Animal Health Station has been urgently taking measures to stem the epidemic disease and closely control over Cau Tau and Ben Suc stations.
As planned, Dau Tieng district’s Animal Health Station will team up with relevant agencies to spray chemicals to disinfect the local breeding facilities from August 5 to September 9.
