Early August 11, Dinh Thanh primary school in Dau Tieng district and the Youth Union of the district’s Police Agency visited and awarded 40 gifts worth VND200,000 each to poor pupils, helping them pursue their learning in the new academic year at the closing ceremony of the 2014 summer activities.
On this occasion, leaders of Dau Tieng district’s Post Office presented 10 gifts to pupils at the school. The same day, leaders of the district’s Police Agency also visited and gave VND2mln together with many learning tools for Nguyen Xuan Mai residing in Rach Da hamlet’s group 4. She is a needy pupil of Ngo Quyen primary school in Dinh Thanh commune and is suffering from blood cancer.
Senior lieutenant Trinh Quoc Long Khanh, Secretary of the Youth Union of the district’s Police Agency said that this was a youth work of “Nang buoc em den truong” (Helping needy pupils go to school) contributed by Youth Union members of the local Police Agency .
