In the vibrant atmosphere celebrating the 94th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025), Youth Union and Vietnam Youth Federation at all levels in Binh Duong province are committed to enhancing educational activities. These initiatives focus on the historical traditions of our nation and foster a spirit of training and dedication among youth union members.

Nurture and raise awareness
During vibrant days of Youth Month in March 2025, all levels of Youth Union are eagerly anticipating the celebration of its founding day on March 26. To ensure that today's young generation can confidently carry on the proud traditions of the Youth Union, various activities aimed at fostering and raising awareness among youth union members are being actively organized at all levels.
For example, Youth Union of Tan My Commune, located in North Tan Uyen district, organized a campaign to educate participants about revolutionary ideals, socialist principles, and roles and responsibilities of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. Ninth-grade students from the area had the opportunity to learn about the significance and activities of the Union. They actively participated in various events, striving to become exemplary union members and contribute to the strengthening of the Union organization.
Mr. Do Ngoc Loi, Secretary of North Tan Uyen District Youth Union, stated that Youth Union branches in the district not only raise awareness about the Union but also organize various "Union Member Festivals” to create an environment for members to meet and engage in dialogue with Party cell secretaries and executive boards from their areas and hamlets. These festivals provided an opportunity for Party Committee and Youth Union officials to understand the opinions and aspirations of union members, as well as to gather information about the local socio-economic conditions and the youth situation.
At the festival, grassroots Youth Unions present a list of outstanding members to the Party cell committee for consideration for admission. Additionally, they implement meaningful activities and movements, creating a valuable cultural exchange platform for young people. Through this process, young union members become more aware of their roles, actively participate in union activities, and help to strengthen and develop grassroots unions.
Besides, Youth Union at all levels actively organized promotional activities to highlight the history and traditions of the Youth Union and Vietnamese youth. They celebrated the 94th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union through themed activities and seminars titled "Building a strong Youth Union is building the Party one step ahead." The promotional efforts were also diversified in format, including online contests that combined learning about the Union’s history.; cultural, artistic and sports exchange activities; meeting former Union officials through the periods; building and propagating media products about the history and traditions of the Union; organizing the 94th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union...
In addition, Youth Union - Youth Federation at all levels has organized propaganda conferences and facilitated the learning and dissemination of resolutions, programs, and action plans aimed at implementing resolutions from Youth Union Congresses; conferences deploying Directive 05-CT/TW, which emphasizes studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle by 2025; conferences promoting awareness of sovereignty over seas, islands, and borders, among other initiatives.
Fuel the passion
Together with other Youth Union organizations in the province, An Tay Ward Youth Union (Ben Cat City) has organized a trip to red address of Southwest Tunnels Relic Site. Youth Union members offered incense and flowers to express their deep gratitude to heroic martyrs, visited and learned about the history of the relic site. In addition to traditional education activities, the Ward Youth Union also organized thematic activities within Youth Month 2025 for union members to discuss the roles and responsibilities of the young generation in the new era and commended progressive youth who follow Uncle Ho's teachings. In addition, the Ward Youth Union also organized a "Ring the Golden Bell" contest to learn about the 94th anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). The contest contributes to raising awareness of young people about the heroic revolutionary fighting tradition of the nation.
Ms. Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of Provincial Youth Union, stated that to enhance the care, training, and education of young union members, Youth Union at all levels will organize various activities and trips to historical sites both within and outside the province. These initiatives will be combined with the activities of the youth theory club to support ongoing development and growth among members. On the other hand, the Youth Union has promoted campaigns such as "Building model values for Vietnamese youth in the new era", "Youth behaves civilly on social networks"; organized forums on "Building beautiful friendships - saying no to school violence"; and organized forums on the era of rising up - awareness and responsibility of youth, "Voice of youth - Actions of the Union"...
These meaningful activities educate about history while fostering bravery, intelligence, and responsibility for the homeland; train lifestyles, fuel the spirit, and promote the pioneering role of Youth Union.
Education about revolutionary traditions and history is a foundational task of Youth Union at all levels, integral to its operations and the broader youth movement. Activities focused on traditional and historical education will ignite in young people a sense of national pride and love for their homeland and encourage their active participation in volunteer initiatives organized by Youth Union- Federation. |
