On the morning of February 28, a ceremony took place at the Provincial Police Department to formally transfer the responsibilities and duties related to state management of drug addiction treatment and post-treatment oversight; the testing and issuance of road motor vehicle driving licenses; the management of judicial records and their issuance; as well as the assurance of information security from the various departments to the Provincial Police Department.
During the ceremony, the Department of Information and Communications, the Department of Justice, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Department of Transport executed a memorandum of understanding to delegate state management functions and responsibilities in the aforementioned areas to the Provincial Police for oversight.
During the ceremony, Colonel Ngo Xuan Phu, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, emphasized the necessity for the department to intensify its efforts in fulfilling its assigned responsibilities. He expressed hope for support from relevant agencies to effectively execute state management duties and maintain security and order within the community.
