Delegation of religious representatives visits and extends Tet greetings to provincial leaders

On January 15, a delegation representing religious organizations in the province visited and extended Tet greetings to leaders of provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee at provincial Administrative Center. The delegation was received by Nguyen Van Loc, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Council; Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, along with representatives from various provincial departments and agencies.

Provincial Buddhist Sangha’s delegation visits and extends Tet greetings to provincial leaders

The religious delegation included provincial Buddhist Sangha, led by Most Venerable Thich Hue Thong, Vice Chairman of the Executive Council, Head of the Legal Department of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and Head of provincial Buddhist Sangha; the Diocese of Phu Cuong, led by Bishop Joseph Nguyen Tan Tuoc and the Evangelical Church of the Southern Region, led by Pastor Nguyen The Hien. During the visit, representatives of the religious organizations expressed their sincere gratitude to provincial leaders for their continued support, attention and facilitation of religious activities in the past period.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Loc expressed his pleasure in welcoming the religious delegation and extending Tet greetings. He also shared some of the achievements in various fields done by the province in 2024. Mr. Loc emphasized the important role of religious organizations and acknowledged their positive contributions to the local socio-economic development. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, Mr. Loc wished the religious organizations, dignitaries, clergymen and followers a joyful, healthy and prosperous new year, hoping that they would further contribute to the local development.
