In the year 2018, to carry out the management of scientific research and technological development, Department of Science and Technology held meetings to determine specialized tasks in 2018 to submit to provincial Science and Technology Council for approval of the list of tasks to be implemented in 2018. Besides, the Department carried out 6 tasks in the list in 2018; checked and took over 16 tasks and checked the progress of 14 tasks.
In terms of grassroots science and technology management, Department of Science and Technology set up committees and organized the checking and acceptance of 22 regular tasks according to their functions, concurrently approved and signed contracts for the implementation of 12 regular tasks in 2018 of 3 centers under the department. The Department also realized a plan to collaborate with Provincial Alliance of Science and Technology Associations, Provincial Cooperatives’ Alliance, Provincial Farmers Association... to build a model applying information technology to serve the direction, operating, propagating, applying science and technology; gave training of intellectual property law system for organizations and individuals engaged in production and business.
