In the 4th wave of Covid-19 epidemic, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the Party, government, business community and people of Binh Duong province are still making great efforts to overcome the pandemic together. Over the past 2 months, the province's spirit of determination, drastic and flexible response to each pandemic situation was an important factor, contributing to the gradual control of the local pandemic situation.
Policy implemented consistently
Facing the situation of the pandemic with many stressful and complicated developments, the province has promoted the effective operation of the Steering Committees for Covid-19 prevention and control at all levels and always grasped the Government’s spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy". Along with setting up the Steering Committees for Covid-19 prevention and control at all levels under administrative management, the province has also asked for departments, sectors, organizations and enterprises to establish their own steering committees against the pandemic. Many periodic meetings on Covid-19 prevention and control were also organized over the past time in order to ensure that the local fight against the pandemic is implemented effectively. Through the meetings, good experiences on effective methods against the pandemic from grassroots level will be shared widely.

The province has also proactively assigned standing members of provincial Party Committee, People's Committee concrete anti-Covid-19 tasks for consistent, smooth and synchronous implementation. Members of provincial Party Standing Committee are assigned to be in charge of each district, town and city. Accordingly, these comrades will regularly attend meetings with localities to closely grasp Covid-19 prevention and control at grassroots level, thereby reflecting and reporting to the province for timely adjustment, support plans.
In the spirit of standing side by side with businesses and people, the province has also established and effectively put into operation special working groups to support functional forces to promptly grasp thoughts, aspirations and give timely support for businesses and people such as the switchboard 1022, quick response forces at all levels, community-based Covid groups in residential areas, Covid-19 safety groups at factories… In addition the province has mobilized the entire political system, resources from businesses and people to join hands in the local fight against the pandemic. .
The urgent and drastic involvement of the entire political system, business community and people from all strata has helped Binh Duong basically control the pandemic. Although the number of infections and suspected infections in enterprises has been increasing in the past few days, these are all areas zoned by functional forces previously. In other words, the increase in positive cases to SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past few days is reflecting that the province’s anti-Covid-19 force is urgent and fierce in zoning, controlling the pandemic to clean the locality…
Anti-Covid-19 measures deployed fiercely, quickly
As of mid-August 2021, after more than 2 months of persistently implementing drastic measures against Covid-19 pandemic under the direction of the Government, the Ministry of Health with flexible and proactive ways, the province has basically contained the pandemic. The highlight is that the province has built a Covid-19 map to deploy appropriate and effective measures on Covid-19 prevention and control in localities. Accordingly, the province has clearly formed up the "green zone" (Dau Tieng, Phu Giao, North Tan Uyen districts); the "yellow zone” (Ben Cat town and Bau Bang district); the "red zone" (Thu Dau Mot city, Thuan An city, Di An city and Tan Uyen town). Up to now, the pandemic situation in the "green zone" of the province has basically been under control. The "yellow zone" is being "greened" day by day. Whilst, the "red zone" is mobilizing the entire political system and social resources to drastically and quickly carry out the task of zoning, large-scale Covid-19 testing and screening, thereby "separating" F0 cases from the community to achieve the goal of "greening" each quarter and street…
Meanwhile, the province has asked for localities in the “green” zone" to quickly deploy anti-Covid-19 campaigns with priority to high-risk areas to screen and separate F0 cases from the community, thereby establishing and maintaining the "green zone". With the proper direction and administration of the province, localities in the "green zone" are being controlled well. Along with drastically implementing anti-Covid-19 measures, the province has also opportunely realized many support programs for needy workers and people during the local social distancing period for pandemic prevention and control.
The province has continued urgently, drastically carrying out measures against Covid-19 in order to soon contain the pandemic, allowing businesses to resume operation under the "new normal" conditions. It is believed that with the spirit of proactiveness, flexibility and consensus of the people, Binh Duong will continue effectively promoting anti-Covid-19 strategies and methods in order to soon repel the pandemic and return to the “new normal” state…
In order to promptly treat people infected with Covid-19, the province has drastically directed sectors, agencies, and localities to quickly requisition the local works as field hospitals, Covid-19 treatment facilities. By mid-August 2021, the number of beds at field hospitals and Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province has been basically filled under the "3-storey tower" treatment model recommended by the Ministry of Health. The situation of patients with severe symptons and deaths, due to Covid-19 in the province is basically under control and is predicted by experts to decrease sharply in the near future when the province narrows pandemic-hit areas and successfully stamps out the pandemic in high-risk areas.
