Vietnamese Physicians’Day
Early Feb.22, Di An town’s Health Center held a get-together to mark the 61st anniversary of Vietnamese Physicians’Day (Feb.27, 1955-Feb.27, 2016).

The town’s healthcare sector now has a total of 236 staff, including 41 at grassroots level. In 2015, ward/commune-level health facilities provided medical treatment for 270,000 patients, a year-on-year increase of 11.2%. The sector also excelled at preventing diseases, realizing the national open vaccination program and food safety-hygiene.
In 2016, the sector will continue upholding achievements done in public healthcare while improving the quality of human resources to bring into full play the effectiveness of medical equipment and expand hi-tech based healthcare services at locals’demand for healthcare. The sector will also well control over diseases, especially have good preparation on personnel and equipment to officially put a detoxification center by Methadon method in Di An town and a general clinic in An Binh ward into operation.
On this occasion, leaders of the province’s healthcare sector awarded the “For People’s Health” mementoes to 2 individuals, the certificates of merit of provincial Department of Health to 9 collectives and 39 individuals for their excellent performance in 2015.
