Di An district People’s Committee just held a get-together to salute the 55th anniversary of the Vietnamese Physicians’ Day (Feb. 27, 1955-2010). Over the past ten years, the district health sector has constantly developed with 6 communal health stations and one district hospital. The hospital has set up 4 functional departments and 6 wards, catering for local people’s healthcare demand.
In 2009, the hospital received over 145,000 patients whilst communal health stations welcomed nearly 479,000 patients. The communal health stations have so far had doctors and modern equipments.
At the get-together, the local health sector honored excellent medical staffs and launched an emulation movement to the sector, striving to excel its tasks.
+According to Dau Tieng district health division, an intersectoral delegation just checked 34 local medical units, 7 of which were fined VND3.5mil for violating medical regulations.
