Early May 24, the Red Cross Society branch of Thong Nhat 1 quarter in Di An town’s Di An ward presented a wheelchair worth VND2.5mln to Nguyen Xuan Vuong; gave 6 gifts, including milk and sugar, for 6 needy children with heard disease and disabilities.
The branch also provided 150 free meals worth VND3mln for the poor and lonely elderly people with disabilities. This was also one of social charity activities regularly done by the branch.
It is known that the total expense of the social charity program was funded by the local donors.
*A group of kind-hearted people has just visited and presented gifts, including milk, confectionary and cooked rice, to more than 100 patients being treated at a hospital under Thuan An town’s Health Center.
Although having a small value, the above gifts were the heart of the kind-hearted people with a desire of sharing difficulties with patients, especially young workers with difficult circumstances being treated at the hospital.
