Leaders of Di An town’s People’s Committee, on January 22, organized a delegation to visit and offer Tet gifts to workers with extremely difficult circumstances at town-based companies on the occasion of the 2014 traditional Tet (Lunar New Year) festival.
At the visiting places, the delegation extended best wishes to workers and their families on the upcoming traditional Tet festival. The delegation also offered 710 Tet gifts worth VND500,000 each to workers who cannot return home for Tet and presented 75 bus tickets to those with difficult circumstances from central Phu Yen province to the northern region.
It is known that the town’s trade union locals have also mobilized enterprises to donate 3,500 Tet gifts worth between VND150,000 and VND300,000 each to laborers on this occasion.
*Early January 22, Thuan An town’s Fatherland Front Committee presented 215 Tet gifts worth VND350,000 each, including rice, instant cash, noodle, cooking oil, soya-sauce…, to poor households in wards of An Thanh, Lai Thieu and communes of Hung Dinh and An Son.
