Searching and gathering martyrs’ remains as well as repairing cemeteries, memorial stelae have been paid much attention by local authorities. The town division of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs in cooperation with functional agencies has held a ceremony to receive and remove 4 sets of martyrs’ remains in Tan Dong Hiep and Dong Hoa wards to bury at the town Martyrs’ Cemetery.
In addition, the division has granted 230 health insurance cards to relatives of local privileged people and 127 cards to members of the local Veteran’s society.
To mark the 66th anniversary of Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day, the division will mobilize businesses, cadres, employees to contribute one day of salary to grant gifts to privileged people.
Especially, in this month, the entire town will hold many activities to inspire and uphold the national traditions and principles among people as well as organize meetings and gift visits to revolutionary contributors and many more.
As planned, Di An town will repair 5 houses for privileged families; grant 2 other houses to needy revolutionary contributors and many other significant deeds.
