July 24, Di An Town People’s Committee held a ceremony to start up the construction of Ho Lang Revolutionary Monument and Eco-resort in its stage 1. This is the model construction to celebrate the 11th Di An Town Party Committee Congress for 2015-2020 tenure.
In the two resistance wars, Ho Lang is a base remembered by its strength and unwitting spirit of local people. Located in a militarily significant strategic position, Ho Lang was the base of Di An District Party Committee from 1971 through 1975. In 2004, Binh Duong Provincial People’s Committee issued a decision to approve the place as a provincial historical monument. Accordingly, the construction of a revolutionary monument and eco-resort is meaningful in the preservation and innovation of a historical and cultural site with preservation of landscape and sustainable eco-tourism development.
Ho Lang Revolutionary Monument and Eco-resort will be constructed in Tan Binh Ward on an area of 31.68 hectares in two stages including 6 bidden tender packages of over VND 226.880 billion in the first stage. On completion, the site will become a valuable address to educate revolutionary traditions, patriotism, and the strong spirit and determination of generations of officers, soldiers, Youth’s League members, and locals.
