Di An Ward has many companies, enterprises and industrial parks (Song Than 1 and Song Than 2) located in the area. Facing complicated development of the Covid-19, Di An Ward Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control proactively implemented epidemic prevention and control measures, strengthened surveillance and early detection of suspected cases of Covid-19 infection.
Especially, the ward actively set up a quick response team; health facilities opened screening rooms and temporary isolation rooms for suspected cases; equipped antiseptic hand soap in precincts of ward People's Committee and health stations, instruct people to clean hands, and prevent diseases when coming for work or medical examination; encourage people not to hide their illnesses but to visit health agencies when there are symptoms of cough, fever or shortness of breath.
Up to now, Di An Ward has not detected any cases of Covid-19 infection.
