Di An town’s Red Cross Society has just held a conference for exemplary role-models in the 2010-2015 period.
Under Uncle Ho’s teaching “emulation is patriotism, patriots must emulate”, the town’s Red Cross Societies at all levels during the past five years effectively carried out emulation movements in association with realizing the local political tasks. Through the movements of “Tet for the poor and Agent Orange victims”, “Each organization, individual should stick to an humanitarian address”…, they offered help of more than VND25bln to disadvantaged people.
With achievements done, Di An town’s Red Cross Society was awarded the second-class medal of State President; the emulation banners of the Vietnam Red Cross Society’s Central Committee and provincial People’s Committee.
The town’s Red Cross Societies at all levels in the 2015-2020 period will continue effectively realizing humanitarian movements while opportunely honoring exemplary role-models in this field…
On this occasion, 12 individuals were awarded the memento “For the humanitarian cause”. There were also 16 collectives and individuals awarded the certificates of merit of the Vietnam Red Cross Society’s Central Committee; 30 individuals awarded with the certificates of merit of the People’s Committees of the province and town for their excellent achievements to the local Red Cross movements in the 2010-2015 period…
