With the significant of offering Tet to all people, Di An town’s Youth Union is preparing a series of significant activities for young people, especially young workers, aiming to bring them a warm and joyous Tet

An town’s Youth Union said: “With the significance of offering Tet to all
people, Di An town’s Youth Union will organize a lot of activities taking care
of the spiritual and material lives of young people, especially young workers
who are unable to go home for Tet. These activities will take place before,
during and after Tet under a safe and thrift spirit ...”.

Accordingly, a series of art performances in celebration of Party and lunar New Year with the theme of “Em la mam non cua Dang” (I’m hope of Party) will be held in Di An. The town’s Youth Union will also organize a spring camping festival “Di An vao xuan” (Di An in spring) with many useful activities, including “banh chung”, “banh tet” (traditional sticky rice cake) contest, five-fruit tray arrangement…; visit and present Tet gifts to soldiers at Dac Ka border station in southern Binh Phuoc province; organize a get-together “Vong tay mua xuan” (Arms of spring) with many Tet gifts for disadvantaged children…
In addition, the town’s Youth Union will hold a sports festival “Healthy youth” in celebration of Party and lunar New Year 2013; present 400 Tet gifts to Youth Union members, young workers who cannot afford to go home and organize activities to welcome lunar New Year at lodging facilities.
A special art performance themed “Hoa xuan ca” (Song of Spring Flowers) will be also held for young workers across industrial parks, export processing zones on January 3, 4 and 5 of lunar calendar. The town’s Youth Union will offer Tet bus tickets “Bringing Tet home” to 35 young workers at lodging sub-unions; organize a year-early get-together for cadres of Youth Union and its affiliates.
Such these apart, the town’s Youth Union and its affiliates will organize many other practical activities for young workers this Tet, including contests, folk games… It is hoped that the above significant activities will bring a warm and joyous Tet locals, young people and young workers who cannot afford to go home for Tet.
