Although digital transformation has achieved some positive results since the Prime Minister approved the Decision No. 749/QD-TTg dated June 3, 2020 on "The National Digital Transformation Program until 2025, orientation towards 2030”. However, in order for the digital transformation to truly become a revolution of the whole people, the first thing must be transformed is the awareness. Awareness plays a decisive role in the digital transformation; thus it needs the involvement of the whole political system and the effort of each citizen, in which propagation plays an important role.
Digital transformation is not the work of a single industry, but a synergy between many industries and fields. In the current period, all agencies, organizations and enterprises are implementing the digital transformation process. Digital transformation in enterprises helps increasing labor productivity, transforming production and business models towards innovation, thereby improving competitiveness. Digital transformation in education promotes creativity and innovation in teaching and learning. Digital transformation in medical branch allows people through digital platforms to quickly access and enjoy the best medical services, contributing to solving and reducing the load for medical facilities...
The digital transformation has an all-encompassing impact, targets the beneficiaries, who are the people, so it is also known as the "revolution of the whole people". Digital transformation is only successful when every citizen actively takes part in and enjoys the benefits that this revolution brings. Digital transformation creates opportunities for people not only in urban areas but also in remote, isolated and border areas to access online services fairly and equally so that “no one is left behind”. Therefore, for everyone and every family to have the opportunity to contribute to the success of the digital transformation, it is necessary to enhance propagation and dissemination work to raise people's awareness.
An agency or organization can reach a successful and quickly digital transformation by using available resources, but it is not easy for a locality, community and country to implement digital transformation. Binh Duong has been deeply aware of this problem and issued many documents and plans to accelerate this process. Departments, localities and units have also concretized documents and plans of provincial leaders to speed up the digital transformation process at each department, locality, and unit. However, because the educational background and awareness of each person is not the same, it leads to many difficulties in the process of transforming people's perception of the purpose, meaning and benefits of digital transformation.
In order for this to truly become a "revolution of the whole people", besides departments, localities, and units, efforts of the whole political system are in need, especially socio-political organizations play an important role. Propagation and guidance to raise people’s awareness of digital transformation needs volunteers who are knowledgeable in this field to explain and made people understand clearly.
